Our business journey began when we decided to feed our own dogs raw.

About a year after our female Ridgeback joined the family, our senior male started getting sick.

He suddenly began vomiting and had no appetite, which was very concerning... 

Especially because Ridgebacks are always hungry! So missing a meal is a big sign that something is off.

But our vet couldn't find anything wrong with him... and then I thought about his food and diet.

I had already been thinking about switching him to a raw diet, but now I had to get serious.

I immediately began researching how to go about feeding them both raw food.

I'll admit, at first it was so overwhelming. I did not want to get this wrong.

Feeding raw is a science that I didn't want to mess with, and I was concerned I'd do more harm than good...
